Women's Mentoring Program
The mission of this program is to share, teach and demonstrate the principles of manhood to young men, enabling them to achieve their dreams and become men who are strong, responsible and productive. Become a positive adult in a child’s life and expand his world by spending time in the community together. Mentor and Mentee are matched based on interests, hobbies and compatibility. This mentoring program also has an academic component; mentors are expected to provide additional educational help to their mentees twice a month. Mentors are free to plan and implement their own reading strategies or work with the Educational Director to ensure that mentees are improving in their learning.

Literacy Mentoring Program
Achieving success throughout life often depends on the choices made in early adulthood. The range of decisions made during this pivotal time can sometimes be confusing or even scary. Education tracts? Career tracts? Establishing independence? Defining goals and making plans to achieve them? Women Mentoring Program recognizes these challenges and offers the opportunity of a mentoring relationship for young women who are seeking support, guidance, and encouragement to help them define goals and plans, overcome obstacles and achieve personal and professional success.
The Space to Climb, Advance, Learn, and Engage (“SCALE”) Reading Program is designed to develop and improve literacy skills for children and students from K-12. This program promotes early literacy for young children, motivate older children to read, and increase student achievement by using school libraries as partners to improve literacy, distributing free books to children and their families and offering high-quality literacy activities.
